Coa: A Personal and Professional Journey Coming Full Circle

Hello & Welcome,

If you’ve made it here, something about Coa caught your interest, and I’m glad it did! Whether it’s the way we approach work or the community we’ve built, your curiosity has brought you to this moment, and that’s a quality I deeply value.

Just like you, I’ve always been driven by curiosity, guided by my two main archetypes – the Sage, seeking knowledge and depth, and the Explorer, eager to experience everything the world offers. This led to a professional journey that has been anything but linear.
“A rolling stone gathers no moss” they used to tell me. But I beg to differ! I believe that curious, creative, and passionate people should be free to explore different skills, places, and ways of expanding and experiencing life.

I started my career as a graphic designer before moving into client servicing, followed by a shift into marketing management, and then into strategy, where all my creative, project management, and marketing knowledge came together. Finally, I progressed into consulting and strategy, where I could fully integrate these experiences. Working across continents and industries, I explored every facet of the craft, gathering my own moss along the way. This path gave me insights from every perspective, allowing me to experience every department that now comes together to create this firm.

For me, Coa represents a sense of coming full circle in many ways.

The Journey to Now

At the moment of writing this letter, I’m in an Airbnb in Mexico City, launching Coa while connecting with my family’s Mexican roots – a long-held dream of bonding with this culture and becoming a Mexican national. I’m juggling the ins and outs of setting up a business while searching for an apartment that I will call home for the foreseeable future.

What you might not know is that these experiences are shaping Coa’s heart and vision. My passion for exploring new cities, trying new foods, and chasing adventures has fueled my desire to create a work environment that reflects this spirit – one where meaningful connections, personal growth, and professional aspirations thrive together.

The Collective – Coa’s Parenting Village

While it’s true that Coa is my baby, it takes a village to raise a child. The Collective is that village – a universe of the most skilled, brilliant people I’ve had the pleasure to work with. Designers, writers, trainers, thinkers, artists, storytellers – lovers of life. They are parenting Coa equally.

This is why you’re reading this open letter in the blog section – every article here is contributed by someone in the Collective, showcasing their skills and ideas while introducing themselves indirectly through writing. I invite you to meet each of them through their words.

I think of each person who also wants time and space to achieve personal goals and dreams while developing their careers, sharing skills, and making plans. If you’re still here, it means you resonate with these messages, and I wish you nothing less than the freedom to be wherever you choose, pursuing whatever passion animates you. May we all be blessed with abundance – however we choose to define it.

When I’m not here running the Coa show, I’m discovering a new city, new food, doing a lot - or not doing anything at all - I'd be lounging on my sofa on a lazy Sunday with a good book, cheap TV, occasionally staring at one of my many plants wondering if it needs more/less water/sun.
